Beta trust
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Presaro may handle, why it is used, who helps provide the service, and the choices available to users during beta.
Effective and last updated: September 17, 2026
1. Who operates Presaro
Presaro is currently operated by its founder in Alberta, Canada under the Presaro name. The founder/operator is responsible for Presaro’s privacy practices during beta and acts as Presaro’s Privacy Officer. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, contact Privacy Officer — Presaro, support@usepresaro.com.
2. Information Presaro may handle
The information Presaro handles depends on how you use the service. You may not provide every category listed below.
- Account, profile and authentication information, including your name, email address and sign-in records.
- Property, ownership, mortgage and other property-related information that a landlord chooses to enter.
- Tenancy and tenant information, including contact details, lease information, occupants, pets, insurance details and landlord-entered notes.
- Landlord-confirmed rent records, Property Care information, expenses and other financial-property records.
- Documents, photos and videos uploaded for properties, repairs, messages and walkthroughs, together with related records.
- Support communications, billing and subscription metadata, and information generated through normal use of the service, such as reminders and activity history.
3. Payment information
Presaro does not store full payment-card numbers. Stripe provides payment infrastructure where applicable, while Presaro keeps limited subscription, invoice and payment-reference information needed to administer billing and maintain legitimate records. Presaro’s current beta billing environment is in sandbox/test mode and is not processing live Presaro customer charges.
4. Information about tenants and other people
Landlords may enter personal information about tenants, applicants, occupants, contractors, emergency contacts and other people. The user who provides that information is responsible for having appropriate authority or another lawful basis to provide it, and for using Presaro consistently with applicable privacy, tenancy, human-rights and other laws.
5. Why information is used
- To create and operate accounts, authenticate users and protect the service.
- To organize rental-property records and provide property, tenancy, rent, repair, walkthrough, document and financial-record workflows.
- To maintain property and tenancy history, communicate with users and provide support.
- To administer billing and subscriptions, prevent misuse, and maintain and improve reliability and security.
- To comply with legitimate legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.
6. Document reading and AI
Presaro currently uses AI only in its document-reading workflow. When a user chooses that workflow, the uploaded file may be processed through Lovable’s AI Gateway and a model provider so that information in the document can be proposed for review.
Lovable has confirmed that its agreements with its model providers restrict their use of customer content to what is needed to deliver the service, and that model providers may not train AI models on that content. Data submitted by end users to apps built on Lovable is not used for Lovable’s own model training.
Presaro does not state a specific retention period for document content processed through this workflow because one has not been published for this configuration. Presaro also does not state that human review on the model-provider side never occurs, because that has not been verified.
AI output is assistive and may be incomplete or wrong. It does not independently change authoritative landlord records; a user must review and approve proposed information. Walkthrough photos and videos are not currently analysed by AI.
7. Service providers and processing outside Canada
Presaro relies on service providers to operate the beta: Lovable Cloud for application, database, authentication and private file-storage infrastructure; Stripe for billing infrastructure; Google for optional sign-in and address lookup; Lovable-managed and Resend email infrastructure for transactional email; and Lovable’s AI Gateway with a model provider for document reading.
Some of these providers process personal information outside Canada. Presaro’s primary application, database, authentication and private file-storage environment for this project is hosted in the United States, based on its configured Lovable Cloud region. Transactional email and billing infrastructure may involve processing in the United States. The document-reading AI workflow passes through an EU-hosted Lovable AI Gateway entry point and is brokered to US-hosted model-provider infrastructure, so uploaded document content used in that workflow reaches the United States.
Other enabled third-party services, such as Google sign-in and address lookup, may process personal information outside Canada where their infrastructure requires it. Presaro does not state a specific country for a service where one has not been reliably established. When information is processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of the jurisdiction where it is processed.
You can ask questions about service providers that may process personal information outside Canada, and about Presaro’s related policies and practices, by contacting Privacy Officer — Presaro, support@usepresaro.com.
8. Browser storage and tracking
Presaro uses first-party browser storage and a functional preference cookie to keep users signed in, protect session timing, remember an email when requested, save in-progress work and retain interface preferences. No advertising trackers, analytics trackers, advertising pixels or third-party error-monitoring tracker were identified in the current application. Presaro does not use these functional technologies for behavioural advertising.
9. Security
Presaro uses safeguards appropriate to the current beta, including authenticated access, ownership and role-based access controls, private file storage with limited file access, email verification and password protections. Tenant access is limited to the tenant’s connected home and workflows; landlord financial information is not available through the tenant portal. No system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Retention
Presaro keeps personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is used and for legitimate business or legal requirements. Limited records may remain after account deletion where reasonably needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, security or compliance purposes. Those retained records are not described as anonymous.
Support correspondence is held in Google Workspace outside Presaro’s application deletion lifecycle. Deleting a Presaro account does not automatically erase support correspondence, and Presaro does not currently promise a fixed support-mail retention period.
11. Export, access, correction and deletion
A signed-in user can download a copy of the Presaro account data covered by the current export. The export includes core account, property, tenancy, rent, expense, repair, walkthrough, message and uploaded-file records, but it is not an exhaustive regulatory, accounting or tax archive. Billing records, message attachments and limited internal security values are among its stated exclusions, and an export may identify files that could not be read at that time.
Users can request account deletion. A request has a seven-day grace period and may be cancelled during that period. During beta, permanent deletion is completed with founder/administrator assistance. Presaro-owned deletable customer data and owned files are erased through the account-deletion process; limited legitimate records and support correspondence may remain as described above. If final recording is interrupted after erasure, Presaro may reconcile the deletion only after verifying that the identity, deletable records and owned storage are gone and future billing has stopped.
For access, correction, deletion or other privacy questions, use the available account controls or email support@usepresaro.com.
12. Privacy Officer, access and correction requests
During beta, Presaro’s founder/operator acts as Presaro’s Privacy Officer. You can reach the Privacy Officer at Privacy Officer — Presaro, support@usepresaro.com to:
- Ask questions about Presaro’s privacy practices.
- Make a written request to access the personal information Presaro holds about you.
- Request correction of personal information about you.
- Ask questions about service providers that may process personal information outside Canada.
- Raise a privacy concern.
13. How Presaro responds to those requests
Presaro responds to a written access or correction request within the time allowed under Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) — normally 45 days — and will tell you if an extension permitted by that Act is needed. Presaro may need to confirm your identity before responding.
Access is not automatic in every case. Some information may be withheld, or a request refused, where PIPA or another law permits or requires that. If that happens, Presaro will tell you the reason and that you may ask the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta to review the decision.
14. Adults
Presaro accounts are intended for adults who are capable of entering into this agreement. Presaro does not currently use technical age verification.
15. Changes to this policy
Presaro may update this policy as the beta and its practices evolve. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be communicated appropriately before they take effect. Changes will not be presented as silently rewriting past privacy practices.
